Nearly six months after the tragic earthquake that struck Haiti, the situation is still extremely difficult, especially for the 1.3 million people still living in makeshift shelters. While the critical phase of treating the wounded is now over, there are still huge health and humanitarian challenges. As the health system was entirely swept away, there is a long term need for aid for reconstruction and health care that will require continued mobilization.

The film “Together with Haiti” illustrates the huge scale of this unprecedented disaster and reports on emergency and post-emergency activities carried out in the field by the NGOs (Aide Médicale Internationale, Care, Red Cross, Handicap International, Médecins du Monde, and UNICEF), partners with Sanofi-aventis.
